Could you imagine the fact that most of those people were defenceless citizens going about doing what they were supposed to do?
Yeah, they were either doing electoral duties or trying to perform their civic responsibilities.
Mention must be made of the level three student who, aged nineteen, went to vote for the first time not knowing it would be his last.
What about the member of the National Youth Service Corps who was murdered while serving his fatherland? I’m not against dying for one’s fatherland as long as that death is inevitable.
I hear a woman died while feeding her baby. The child automatically became motherless in a space where people are increasingly getting to a state of ‘me and my family’.
When we were condemning the unfortunate speech of Mr Buhari that called for soldiers to kill at sight, some people felt we were crazy not to see the wisdom in the president’s speech.
Now here we are!
Only God can comfort the relatives and other loved ones of those folks who were murdered by stray bullets.
