From antiballistic missiles countering ballistic
nukes threatening to erase our earth;
Rat-a-tat of AK-47;
Ricocheting of AK-74;
Hunger widespread where there should be plenty!
Man is insane!
If he wasn’t;
He would have seen need
for peace!
War everywhere,
who benefits?
Of course,
arm sellers are smiling
to the banks;
Power wielders too, will have
their craving;
Unobvious to fact that,
it’s only when there’re people,
there’ll be a population!
Our humanity has been desecrated;
Man is a jinxed animal;
If we must die,
is it not better
to do that in the quiet of our homes?
Must it be on battlefields?
Must it be in hunger?
Must it be in captivity?
Must we leave our world, if there remains,
in a worse form?
