The presidential election of the United States is rounding to a close. But whoever wins, let’s look at the Trumpish character and consider whether or not he has done anything extraordinary. First, the fact that he could rise to become president of what we thought was the greatest democratic space in the world was indicative of the fact that the conservatives never forgave the forces that gave a Blackman a chance to govern in their White House. America certainly deserved a much better candidate. But then, how can I forget the saying that, ‘a people deserves its ruling class.: America chose a largely uninformed Trump against a former first lady and ex secretary of state. Of course, they had chosen their cake which they had to eat for four years. And the incumbent didn’t disappoint those who felt he wasn’t a good choice. They felt it was irresponsible of American voters to have left an unstable Trump in charge of the whole world
