There’s really a lot to dance about in Nigeria of today. The ever wise Yoruba have said when a situation is beyond weeping, just try and laugh.
Why won’t we dance, all our civil servants get paid on time. It’s only those people who are against our governance who have failed to see these things.
Our common people have never had it so good. We’re feeding their children in the schools. Don’t mind those saying we’re only sharing fifty naira bread amongst four pupils.
All the students enjoy scholarships. When we say all, we mean all.
Our foreign exchange have been stabilized. One naira will soon be equal to dollar. That’s because we now export all the exportables. Don’t mind those showing the video of some disloyal elements trying to export drugs inserted in yams.
Our farmers are doing just fine. We plant just everything you could think of. We have actually devised a method of paying our farmers when there’s a glut in the market. This has encouraged them to plant more and more.
Our legislators are also doing very well. They make and unmake laws for anything and everything.
That’s why they have some leisure time to sing and dance. It’s a way of promoting the music industry anyway.
At least, Ajeku Iya, has received a senatorial blessing. It is now the most famous CD in Nigeria and abroad. Added to that is the dancing senator.
What can be better than that. I mean when a singer meets a dancer They are two of a kind.
They must dance.
Jijo iya ka wo!
