In Exodus: 1vs 8, we read about a new king coming to power in Egypt to whom Joseph meant nothing.
For those who didn’t know, I would say, Joseph was a Jew who saved Egypt from famine.
Now, in what ways have the governments in Nigeria, since independence, recognized the common man?
The fact that the common man means nothing is especially demonstrated in the video that has gone viral of Lagos state officials’ treatment of a motorist.
The guy had seen nothing wrong in using an Ekiti state waste basket in Lagos. The officials pointed out that since his vehicle was registered in Lagos, he should be using the Lagos basket.
For crying out loud, what’s going on in the space called Nigeria?
Is it logical for a sensible government to be overburdening its citizens? By the way, when did it become a must for motorists to procure waste baskets from government?
At the end of the day, the people aren’t getting anything in return.
If we continue having over-government, those in governance will never be able to face the urgent issues of society.
The people will continue suffering and contractors in the corridors of power will continue smiling to their banks.
The governments in Nigeria are simply rabid Pharaohs!
