I understand Nigerian legislators are working on a bill.
The said bill is not to reduce hunger in the nation, it’s not to invite the top companies that are leaving the country back, it’s not to for the salary increase demanded by labour.
It is for the country to go back to the old national anthem.
What a thoughtful bill?
What a way to show patriotism?
What a way to identify with the voters’ hunger for everything.
In my days as a student in Nigeria, we normally sang the old national anthem when we were protesting some activities of the government or even the school.
By inference, I think the lawmakers are protesting on behalf of the masses.
