The bill tabled by Senator Ali Ndume who is representing Borno South is a thoughtful one.
The bill is for the issuing of food tickets to interested citizens of Nigeria to alleviate hunger in the country. Citizens would in turn buy foods with the tickets.
I believe the bill should go through the senate quickly and be presented to the president who should have no qualms in executing the law.
Churches, mosques and shrines and even well-to-do people should also help in the setting up of food banks for the benefit of the indigent.
However, it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t find our ways to the farms.
