My long drawn agitation on the Sowore issue is not only for him. Rather, it’s for all those who are being subjected to the deprivation of their human rights throughout the world.
By the way, I’m not too sure Nigeria celebrated human rights day two days ago. I mean what’s there to celebrate when the government is in the process of tightening the noose on the human rights of the people much more than ever before.
Some are even saying not even in Buhari’s totalitarian first coming were things so bad!
I’m not saying Sowore shouldn’t be tried. But then, ALL parties must obey court rulings.
I believe government is using the Sowore issue as a smokescreen to divert public attention from the suffering of the masses.
Like I’ve always maintained, the case shouldn’t have been belaboured if all things were equal.
But then, government needs to use a diversionary tactic to cover up its inanities.
Pray, what’s so difficult in judging such a high profile case. I thought the prosecution had prepared their case.
But then, in a situation where they would first arrest and be searching for the offences committed which might not even be in the law books, I wouldn’t be surprised!
Meanwhile, they’ve successfully shifted our interests from the coming festivities and its concomitant responsibilities to the Sowore case!
