It’s a good thing that no other person than a spokesman of the presidency, himself a northerner, willingly confessed that Miyetti Allah is a socio-cultural group just like Afenifere and Ohanaeze.
I’m aware that Mr Sheu might lie sometimes, but in this case, he doesn’t have any reason to be a Lai!
You know, as a human being and a detribalised person, I tend to find it difficult to describe humans as animals. But then, Mr Sheu has described his people as subhumans.
While Ohanaeze and Afenifere are groups to belong to as far as the Igbo and Yoruba people are concerned, Sheu has willingly confessed that the best the North has to offer are killers, rapists and thieves.
While the best of the best amongst the Yoruba and Igbo are represented in Afenifere and Ohanaeze, it’s only robbers that are representing the north.
I’m disappointed because when I was serving in the, now, discredited National Youth Service Corps in Kaduna State, a northerner was my closest pal. The guy was very brainy and you wouldn’t even know he was from the north.
And together, we painted the town red!
It’s instructive that Mr Sheu never disputed the fact that the Miyetti Allah are criminals. Since we now know Sheu knows there are criminals amongst his people, will he not be a very useful witness to any investigation that might be carried out?
But then, thinking of credible investigations in Nigeria as presently constituted could be a wishful thinking.
