The journalist who asked Mr Buhari what Nigerians should be expecting from his administration is definitely a spoilsport!
Haba!!
If you look at his antecedent, he’s most likely to be from the opposition.
How can anyone ask such a sickening question from a man who’s just recuperating from an undisclosed illness?
Is he not a Nigerian?
So, he has failed to see the progress being made by the Nigerian government in every stage of inhuman endeavor.
In fact, the government is making true the quote from the bible that a thief only comes to steal, kill and destroy, (John 10:10).
But then, the Yoruba also say a thief can’t just succeed without an insider’s know so! And that talks about the people.
I was discussing with someone yesterday and we concluded that if Nigerians had made the terrible mistake of electing the Buhari of 1983 in 2015, they shouldn’t have touched him with a ten-foot pole in 2019.
As a saying goes, ‘If you fool me once, shame on you; if you fool me twice, shame on me’.
I will add, if you fool me thrice, I become a customer dada ni!
When shall we be wise? When shall we start depending on our own conscience to elect candidates? When shall we start thinking rationally and not greedily?
For Buhari to have answered the journalist that he would want continuity speaks volumes.
Yeah!
Continuity of the status quo where the rich are having the very best and the poor are gnashing their teeth due to their being in a state of unending want.
