Isn’t it appropriate that it’s when a so-called infantry general of the Nigerian army is presiding over the country that the land is most insecure?
That should tell the discerning what stuff the Nigerian army is made of. I do know that there are some fine officers who are brilliant and dutiful.
But this bubu would have hardly gone beyond the post of an RSM in more civilized settings.
To make matters worse, he’s presiding over the nation with an academically brilliant but politically illiterate vice.
What does it take any determined head of a nation to deal with insecurity.
Poor Nigeria!
We are now in a Hobbesian state of nature. The only thing that remains is for us to be going about in our birthday suits.
Yet, politicians are investing as much as a whopping 100 million naira to be contestants in some primary elections.
It’s like we don’t have the capacity to think. If we did we would have insisted on Buhari and Osinbajo’s resignations.
Truly, a people deserves its ruling class!
