Carlo Acutis was an Italian teenager with a difference.
CBS News reports that he was unique because he used his computer skills to spread the Catholic faith.Carlos who is called “God’s influencer” is about to be knighted as the first saint of the millennial generation.
He died of Leukemia in 2006 aged 15. While he was born in London, he grew up in Milan where he managed the website for his parish. He also managed a Vatican-based academy.
He then used his computer skills to create an online database of Eucharistic miracles around the world.
Carlo has been batified in 2020 after a miracle was attributed to him. That is the first step to knighthood. He is credited with healing a Brazilian child of a congenital disease affecting his pancreas.
Pope Francis attributed another miracle to him on Thursday. He was said to have healed in a University student in Florence who had a brain bleeding after suffering head trauma
