On Sunday, Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian young man in Jerusalem.
IMEMC News reports that the man was shot in the Shu’fat refugee camp, north of the historical city.
Reports said several military vehicles invaded the refugee camp, and it led to protests. The soldiers were said to have fired many live rounds, rubber-coated bullets, and gas bombs at the protesters and surrounding homes.
The young man was shot at, and he sustained a moderate wound.
The soldiers then gathered in large numbers in the refugee camp. They secured the main entrance to prevent Palestinians from entering or leaving it.
In another development, Israeli soldiers and paramilitary men invaded Burqa village. It led to protests, and the army shot six Palestinians with live fire.
In yet another development, Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian woman, Labiba Faze’Sidqi Ghannam, after an alleged stabbing attempt at the “Hamra” military roadblock in the northern Jordan Valley.
It was reported that a woman was shot at after she allegedly attempted a stabbing at the military roadblock. After the shooting, soldiers were said to have prevented ambulance crews from approaching her. They then blocked the road in both directions.
In another development, soldiers shot and killed two Palestinian youngsters, Mohammad Majid Mousa Jabarin and Mousa Mahmoud Mousa Jabarin, near Hebron after they allegedly carried out a shooting and attempted stabbing.
