Today is very symbolic. It is because, throughout the Christian world, the death of the Reason for the Trinity is being celebrated.
In the Christian world, that is!
Now, I wouldn’t bore you with the coming of the Saviour, neither would I waste your time with why He had to die on a cross like a common criminal.
But could we look at the minds of the mob who conspired to put Him on trial on what today would have qualified as ‘trumped up charges’?
The primary reason is that He called himself the Saviour.
If He had called Himself the Saviour and they had left Him alone as just a passing phase, I very much doubt if there would have been Christianity today.
I realise that God’s will would have manifested itself anyway!
But, I very much doubt whether the will of the Omnipresent would not have been delayed if, just if, the Jews of those days had exhibited some level of tolerance.
Yes, religious tolerance!
While urging everyone to try to tolerate each other, I wish everyone, not just Christians, a very happy Easter celebration!!!
