Things are getting better in Nigeria. Someone called me this morning while waiting for a Bolt taxi.
He was at Maryland and he was going to Ilupeju. Out of curiosity I asked him how much he was going to pay. His response was 1,800 naira. I then asked him what the distance is, he said 11 kilometres.
Now, I hear the minimum wage in Nigeria for now is 35,000 naira. Let’s say a worker is earning 80,000 naira per month.
If he’s to go to work in a Bolt and spends 3,600 naira daily on transport, don’t you think the situation is getting better?
