I may not really like him. By the way I’ve never met him. However, I don’t find his being in detention funny.
Not at all!
I understand he’s even there with his wife.
Some of his sons were even killed.
One of the reasons he’s being detained, I understand, is his willingness to create a state, out of Nigeria.
By the way, Nigeria lays claim to being a state. Well, all evidence prove otherwise.
Now to the claim of creating a state within a state, that might be treasonable. I believe there’re courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria. If the government of Mr Buhari is sincere, Zakzaky would have been taken to court.
For crying out loud, how is his offense different from Boko Haram’s. I wouldn’t know if he had started killing people like Boko Haram is doing now.
Let’s look at the herders who are now the uncrowned kings of southern Nigeria. Have they not succeeded in creating a state out of a state?
Even if theirs is a state of fear!
I beg to make this position clear. Anybody who conspires to overthrow a government, particularly a democratic one, has succeeded in creating a state within a state.
Is Mr Buhari guilty in this case or not?
The least the government could do is to free Ibrahim El Zakzaky now!
