I was furious that a popular actress held a party, somewhere in Lagos, to celebrate her husband’s birthday while there was a lockdown because of coronavirus19.
The government subsequently arrested the couple and they were prosecuted.
I have since learnt that some of the other attendees at the party have had charges against them withdrawn. The charges were said to have been withdrawn on the grounds that they would apologize to the president and the governor of Lagos state.
It’s obvious the people do not matter!
At this juncture, I think it will be better if the Lagos government apologizes to Funke Akindele and her hubby and refynds the fine imposed on the duo.
All parties must definitely feel the impact of justice!
