‘Confusion Break Bone’ is an album recorded by the irrepressible and irresistible Abami Eda, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. It was released in 1975.
I don’t think of anything else to describe feelings in the camp of Mr Ademola Adeleke apart from a state of confusion.
The electoral body, INEC had declared him to be a loser in the Osun State gubernatorial race. Not pleased with the assertion, he did the logical thing by approaching the electoral tribunal.
The tribunal declared him the winner!
Although, the tribunal is only a primary court in electoral matters, that didn’t stop our own Michael Jackson from celebrating. I hear his nephew, Davido the singer, even gave a performance to celebrate the tribunal victory.
Meanwhile, Mr Adeleke had another court case on whether he actually possesses the West African School Certificate or not. The court was to rule that there was no evidence to prove that he actually completed secondary education not to talk of seating for the almighty WASC.
That, of course, means whatever certificate he provided INEC must be suspicious!
Will Adeleke be a loser?
Will he be charged for certificate forgery?
Really, I put my mouth for song, I sing ‘Confusion break bone’!!!
