The resident pastor of Living Faith Worldwide (Winners Chapel), which has its headquarters in Ogun State of Nigeria, is reported to have opened care centers across the country.
Vanguard newspaper reports Mr David Oyedepo as saying Nigeria is in a season of distress and needs help to get back on track.
He also called on Christians to reach out to the needy around them to reduce economic hardship.
He concludes that, “It is not a sign of weakness to ask for help when needed.”
