Authorities in the United States of America are set to propose changes in the asylum system on Thursday.
POLITICO reports that the changes will state the stage at which migrants can be found ineligible to apply for and receive asylum. The new change would effectively allow the US to expedite the removal of migrants whom officials see as potentially ineligible to stay in the country due to national security or public safety risks.
