After days of heavy rainfall in British Columbia, there was a pause on Thursday.
Chek News reports that the aftermath is now posing flood risks to many BC rivers that continue to rise.
The minister of Emergency Management and Climate Readiness, Kelly Geene, said the Fraser Valley and parts of the Okanagan are dealing with the repercussions of Wednesday’s atmospheric river.

Late Wednesday, the province closed the main highways out of the Lower Maonland, but some have since been reopened.
