My late grandma, God rest her soul, had a habit. Whenever I got scolded for a misdemeanor and refused food, she would eat in my very presence and be showing she was enjoying the meal to my utmost discomfort.
After her meal, she would then burst into a song,

P’ebi npo’mo
Eni kankan
Bamubamu l’a yo!
In my own case, food was available but I chose not to eat. Are food and other essential commodities available in Nigeria? Even if they are, are people earning enough, if at all?
Meanwhile, those in power are “enjoying the lives of their heads’ in bamubamu fashion!
