The video of a so-called pastor in Eastern Nigeria who committed incest with his three daughters has gone viral. Incidentally, his wife supported him because of ‘love’.
While I support his being punished by a competent court, I really detest his being stripped naked.
Ok!
Does his being stripped naked atone for his sins, or could it be enough punishment?
The fact remains that he was dealt with by a mob, and with the mob, anything could have happened.
He was even given some strokes of the cane!
Did the mob know that in dehumanizing the man, they succeeded in dehumanizing themselves?
Even the predators in our government houses do not deserve such jungle justice!
