Why must we lesser animals always suffer just because, sons of men want us to. By the way I think by the time we finish dealing with men, they will know better than calling us lesser animals.
We are lesser animals, ordinary minute rats drove a president from his executive office. One of us, an ojola ibinu, swallowed millions of naira. Another one, which sons of men loved giving bananas, a monkey, has swallowed yet some more millions.
You know why all these swallowing of money is happening?
Men are fasting and they are letting it affect us. They deliberately forget to feed us. They believe once they are fasting, we should do the same.
Na we kill Jesus?
See them, I mean Nigerians – they are the most foolish people, sorry, animals on earth.
What’s the big deal in changing a president or governor who is not performing? Talking of deals, there’s a big deal o!
The people are so mumucious. But I don’t blame them. After selling their birthrights, what could they do?
At least, my cowsins in other countries tell me how political parties are organised. One major source of funds for parties there is through membership fees. Here, it’s not like that. They always wait for one rich man to sponsor the party. Of course, the man would be waiting after the elections to collect more than his fair share.
There’s general poverty in the land. Yet the organisers of elections will still expect people to bring millions as registration fees. Can you see the linkage between government money and stealing?
Meanwhile, the people themselves are just waiting for their own chance. If they happen to get hold of any government money, they will liberate it.
That’s probably why they are not able to talk whenever people steal money. The way they look at it is, it’s that person’s luck. The successful thief even organises parties in celebration of a successful heist.
Not only that, he performs his religious obligations out of the loot. He pays his tithe which is ten percent. He donates to the underprivileged.
With this Robin Hood style, he succeeds in making everybody a thief. That’s with the exception of a very negligible few.
When they say in the church, ‘we have all sinned…. ‘, they know what they’re saying. We are all thieves, either by omission or collusion. That’s why I always love my Yoruba people, they have an adequate saying for every situation. For this, they will say, Gbogbo wa l’ole, eniti’le ba mo ba ni barawo’.
All of us are thieves, it’s only those who get caught that are tried.
A people will always deserve its ruling class!
