Two arrested over fake travel documents!

The Federal Investigation Unit of Pakistan has arrested two people at Karachi airport for travelling with counterfeit travel documents.

Ausaf Daily reports that Shamsuddin from Attock and Muhammad Yaqub from Rajanpur were detained after their passports were discovered to have fake Iranian visas. It was found that they had paid over Rs 300,000 each to some agents for the forged documents.

The arrests are part of ongoing efforts to curb illegal travel activities at the airport. Further investigations are still in progress. 

Last month, FIA immigration apprehended a human trafficker in the process of smuggling some Pakistanis abroad through Jinnah International Airport. Sajid Mahmood, the trafficker, was linked to a human smuggling case in Gujarat. He was caught by Interpol at the airport while trying to flee to Azerbaijan.He is now cooling his heels in custody while additional investigation goes on.
