I read in some Nigerian newspapers that a human rights lawyer said the zazzu crooner, Portable is a lawyer’s nightmare.
And I wonder if there’s not some element of Portable in most of us.
Why is it the same Nigerians who’ll queue up abroad that will be “shunting” when they return home?
Are we not the ones who’ll register our underage children in schools?
Are we not the ones who’ll evade taxes at home while being obedient to taxation rules abroad?
Are we not the ones who’ll dump our refuse in the sewage while not even daring to do such abroad?
Are we not the ones who’ll obey traffic rules abroad while doing emi ni mo to be back home?
Portable is only portraying the little craziness in most of us. But he has collected all our “littles” which has resulted in a lot of crazineness!
