If I had not gone to the show, I definitely wouldn’t have met him.

Last week, I had spoken with my former instructor. Among other things, I requested them to be informing me of happenings in town. I said this because without a person who knows the ins and outs of a city giving you a hint, something could be happening next door to you without your being aware.

So, they told me of the Greary Art Crawl. It took place in Downtown Toronto last Saturday and Sunday.

Although I had some personal challenges which made me miss the Saturday event, I was present on Sunday.

The surprising thing was the fact that in spite of the rain, people still found time to attend the event.

Should it be events?

Like I said, there was a downpour. This made people come late. Those that came early used the extra time to worship Bacchus.

Anyway, when the show started, it was ‘one-in-town’.

But I just wanted to report that the event was rounded up by a Canadian disc jockey who is so versatile that he’s got music from various lands.

When he heard I’m Nigerian, he told me he has about 40 Fela albums. To prove it to me, he rounded up the show with Fela’s. ‘Gentleman’.
