It was such a delight watching the president of African Development Bank and recipient of the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo Award roll out the plans of the institution and its affiliates for Nigeria’s messed up system.
However, in a situation where the authorities are saying hunger is not a distress, are we ready for the plans?
Are we ready to make agriculture our priority? Are we ready to set up well-equipped farm estates?
Indeed, are we ready to provide security for the embattled farmers?
