Nigeria’s politics and the so called politicians always interest me.
There’s no doubting the fact that the ruling party and its alter ego lack one thing. In fact, this is the unifying thing for them.
Policy!
We can break it down to manifesto. We may even talk about principles.
That’s why it’s been so easy for both parties to be exchanging players.
When one considers what is playing out in Nigeria’s Edo State, it’s more or less the same story. The governor having lost his bid for second term has moved to PDP. His deputy has also joined him.
Meanwhile, his opponent in the 2016 election has transferred to APC.
But then, how does this lack of policy benefit the ordinary man on the streets? Well, apart from the usual congo of gari and flip flops, I really don’t see them benefiting anything.
That’s the reason I’m calling our people to think before they vote!
