There’re some places or incidents that will never cease to confound me.
The first one is death. The mere fact that the ultimate reaper doesn’t care if you were sick or not, once it’s your appointed time to leave this side of the earth, you don’t have a choice.
The second is the difference between being rich and living in abject poverty. Once it’s your time to be rich or even poor, it will be like magic.
The third is the ‘Land of No Return’ as the last place the slaves of those days would see of their land in Africa before being shipped into servitude is called. By the way, when you visit the former slave ports, you’ll end up wondering how cruel men could be to fellow men.
For those who are happy over another’s death, while wishing them all the best, I just thought I should ask them a question,
Are they really happy?
I’m asking the question because personally I don’t really see how it could change things in the developing economies. For anyone of the power holders that dies, I’m sure ten of their type are ready to replace them.
For me, once a person is dead, he is as dead as a dodo. Let’s address the issues of the day while the dead is buried.
We should do all within our powers to make sure we’re represented by people who’ll give us quality performance. Apart from that, all these sounding of the cymbals after a political actor’s death are just nothing!
