Some people might not know I’ve given up on Buhari.
Why shouldn’t I?
Ore kinni’pa se fun’di?
A kuku’joye san j’enu mi o ka’lu lo!
I believe he’s either being wicked or he’s not aware of the situation of things in the country he’s failed to rule well. I don’t want to say he’s already senile!
Rather, I want to focus on his hangers on!
Starting from the interestingly silent vice-president. Apart from being a professor who’s reputed to know his onions, he had been in governance as attorney-general in Tinubu’s government. He’s also said to be a pastor.
He must have gone to church this morning. Maybe he didn’t because of yesterday’s victory for his government at Lekki and even the killings at Ibadan!
Femi Adesina too is a so-called pastor. He too must have gone to church to thank god for yesterday. Kindly note my deliberate use of ‘g’. That’s because I don’t believe they’re serving the living God.
Of course, their Muslim counterparts won’t miss their five times ablutions and prayers.
But I learnt right from my elementary school days that God is merciful. Wouldn’t it be better if we, human beings, could be merciful to each other?
But then, these people are no longer humans. They’ve become monsters, tipetipe. That’s why I’ve ceased to be surprised at their actions.
In the land where I reside now, there’s hardly any day the PM doesn’t address the people, not to talk of the mayor or even ministers.
What am I even saying?
You can’t just compare a responsive and responsible government with the opposite!
God give us men.
