He starts by tuning the piano. When he’s perfected that, he turns to the trumpeter and demands that some bass be infused into the music.
It’s like a rehearsal!
Rather than a rehearsal, it’s the master musician’s bid to be honest and give the audience an unforgettable musical experience.
He goes to play some enchanting tunes on the piano.
Then it’s Femi’s solo. The crown Prince shows great class. The versatile Baba Ani shows his experience.
Abami Eda starts yapping at the audience. He goes on to sing, ‘Gbe won sita’.
The whole band gives the audience an excellent performance.
While most of the audience was dancing, some were gisting while others were smoking joints.
The dancers, too, were a great scene to watch. Fela, on his own, has his peculiar dance steps that no one can beat.
Then comes, ‘Suffer dey Africa’!
It’s an outstanding performance!
I’m still watching in the Albion Library!!
