Not that I’m his fan, but then he is a fighter!!
Mr Buhari, in his own case, is proving a point. In the first instance, what’s the opening sentence of Nigeria’s constitution?
‘We the people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria…’
I can’t remember anyone meeting me in other to seek my agreement for a particular constitution. In other words, the constitution, in as much as the generality of Nigerians did not agree on one, is a fake document.
We’re in a jungle. So, anyone can decide to treat any other person in any way the aggressor deems fit.
In 1984, decree 4 dealt with freedom of the press conclusively.
Section 39 of the 1999 constitution could be summarized as stating freedom of the press. But we’re saying the constitution in which that section is included is fake.

The president has thus, by his action, through the NBC shown there’s no law in Nigeria. Indeed, we’re in a Hobbesian state of nature.
If you’ve not been persuaded to believe we are by the killings, kidnappings, lack of basic amenities and near total collapse of infrastructure, you’ll certainly be convinced by the experience of the AIT/Raypower closure.
