There was a rumor that the Federal Government of Buhari introduced a lockdown due to a fresh strain of COVID 19!
I wanted to eat my hat for the government’s ‘good deed’. It would have been an exemplary deed by the baba London in Aso Rock.
It takes a courageous government to declare a lockdown at the expense of being popular.
But then, does Nigeria have any means of adequately checking the rate of the pandemic? There are rumors that government got foreign aids. What happened to the money?
It was no surprise when some official in charge of the pandemic came out to refute the allegation that government had actually declared a lockdown.
Why must we have a lockdown when we are the most religious nation in the world? What beats me silly is the fact that we’re hardly Godly!
If it the government had declared a lockdown, that would have been a global wonder!
