So, we’re all infuriated with some allegation of abuse.
We should be!
But then, isn’t it a case of, oku n sunkun oku, that is the dead mourning the dead?
I say so because if we really look at it, which Nigerian can truthfully say they are enjoying in this country. Save those who are in power and their hangers-on, can we truly say we’re enjoying any, just one dividend of democracy?

Then, we were in some comfort zone, not knowing our so-called rulers were bent on giving us more punishment for doing nothing.

Maybe we believe in the Yoruba saying that, T’egun ba nle ni ka maa roju, bo se n re ara aye lo nre ero orun, that is, if a masquerade is pursuing one, the person should endure, because the masquerade will soon be tired.
It’s not as if these our ‘overlords’ would be tired, at least not in the immediate future.
As long as we pretend to be enjoying it, they will still continue.
