I really don’t believe Nigeria has a president. Should I have said I don’t believe Nigeria has a powerful president? Maybe I should have said I don’t believe Nigeria has a good president!
Mr Muhammad Buhari can’t be said to be a patriot. I’m saying this with every sense of respect.
Now, during the last seven days, Nigeria has lost a colonel, a deputy commissioner of police and a member of the National Youth Service Corps.
How come?
The Boko Haram Buhari says has been liquidated apparently rose from the dead and killed a colonel in the army. It’s the colonel’s death we are talking about.
But I tend to verily believe that where a colonel happened to have met his death so many soldiers in other ranks would have been summoned by the grim reaper too.
What about the deputy Commissioner? I wouldn’t believe he had died alone. And that brings us to the Shiites.
How many Shiites lost their lives?
Imagine a so-called democratic government that has held El Zakzaky, the Shiite leader incommunicado for years without being tried. And this is even against the ruling of the courts.
I don’t necessarily have sympathy for the Shiite leader, but then, let him face the courts of justice.
Anything below that is undemocratic!.
How can someone be sitting over the insecurity of a nation and be doing next to nothing?
Oh well, we have reached the stage of an unpresiding presidency!
A people will always deserve its ruling class!
