Where is home?
I wouldn’t want to care about other people’s definition of the term, ‘home’!
You see, we are all settlers in this world. Some will even say we’re strangers here.
In the days of our fathers, when there were inter-tribal wars, there were a lot of movements. Of course, people settled where they found security.
These days too, for those of us who aren’t satisfied with the way our countries are run, we just needed to hide our heads somewhere.
That’s the reason many of us have found ourselves abroad. But then, most of us are hardly regretting the timely moves.
To me, home is where I can enjoy liberty as a free person. Home is where I can express myself. Home is where I can go about without being harassed.
Above all, home is where I can find my purpose in life.
Today is Canada day, I’ve found peace in Canada. So I can regard the country as HOME.
I say congratulations to Canada and peace loving Canadians!
