Someone owing me some money replied they won’t respond to my emails because they are now a uniformed officer. They even threatened to report to the authorities.

Obviously the person is trying to cow me not to ask for the money again.
The person has Nigerian parentage.
Possibly they are thinking of the undue power and influence uniform people have in Africa, particularly in Nigeria.
Soldiers, naval and air force officers, even majamaja are more influential than even influence itself.
Sadly for them, they happen to be outside Africa.
Here, one can wear military fatigue and nobody dares question the person. If it were in Nigeria, the person will be beaten blue and black, may even be stripped naked and he might be charged to court for impersonation.
All for what he bought with his own money!
Indeed, “uniform na cloth, na tailor dey sew am.”
For the uniformed officer, they just have to pay my money which they scammed me of.
I forgot to add that as an Owu person, we the Owu don’t have any illness except emphasizing issues until they get to a logical conclusion!
