General Buhari, against what his media aides made the public believe, succeeded in addressing Nigerians today. Of course, his address was on the raging COVID 19.
I think the kulikuli man should resign for not only misinforming the Nigerian people but also for proving to know Oso’s mother much more than the child. It’s on record that he actually said it wasn’t Buhari’s style to address the public.
He even went on to send his interviewers back to school!
But hey, in Nigeria, everything goes!!
General Buhari, like a military man that he is says he’s ordering a stay at home in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja.
That’s great except for one fact. What are the provisions made for people not to starve for those initial two weeks the stay at home order would last?
Okay, since he has made provisions for school feeding programs to continue, he certainly expects parents to beg for food from their children. That would have been feasible if the food itself was enough.
Tradermoni, farmermoni and narketmoni are certainly not quite enough to feed even a rat.
I would have expected a president to give a much better address, especially as far as palliatives are concerned. But then, Mr Buhari could be pardoned since he’s just getting aware of the gravity of the situation!
