In my bid to engage people in interviews, I often go inbox to ask whether they would love to be interviewed.
A couple of days or so ago, I did so.
I started with a, ‘hi’!
It was then followed by my request.
I was surprised when the fellow retorted that I didn’t greet him. I then replied that it was a ‘no no’ for me not to greet people.
‘Hi’ is a friendly way of greeting or attracting attention. Since the world is a global village and there are different time zones, it’s therefore more convenient to say a ‘hi’ instead of having to guess the time at the other end!
