I love leaders who tell the people the truth before they start ruling them.
That’s why I wouldn’t blame the Nigerian president for the tough times the nation is facing. Before he was (s)elected as president, he warned severally that he would continue with the dismal leadership of the former president.
So, I don’t really see any reason why the current president should be blamed. The Yoruba have a saying that a wrestler who had told his opponent that he would defeat him before the contest is a master.
So, let’s give our president a rousing twale!
And to say the truth, within the past eight months, he has really tried. I understand one American dollar is now about one thousand five hundred naira. Abeg, another twale.
We pitied Ivory Coast in the AFCON final because we were not impressed by the ‘unfine’ cup.
There’s so much food in the country now that we’re even exporting not only to other African countries, but to Europe and the Americas.
Our security is one of the best globally. Don’t mind the opposition, they’re only jealous
We already have electricity, water, jobs and good roads and our people are preparing for the 2027 elections to vote us in again.
Then, they’ll have their usual kongo of rice and they’ll vote for us!
