I was discussing with someone on FB yesterday, and I regretted I did. There are some people, once they believe in politicians, that wouldn’t let go even on the face of apparent betrayal.
To those people, the saying that, ‘fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me,’ is more than true.
I find it a hard knot to crack that an individual would still believe nobody was killed as a result of the army attack on innocent protesters at Lekki. But then, I’m consoled by the fact that people believe what they want to believe.
