The apostles, prophets, evangelists and ‘politricians’ do not spare the masses when it comes to worldly possessions.
They live in government reservations, their offices are magnificent and policemen carry their wives’ bags of nothing.
It appears they’ve all realized the fact that God is far away from Nigeria and Nigerians. He’s so far up there ensconced in the heavens that only the best of private jets could reach Him.
Since jets are not within the reach of the flotsam and jetsam of society, they willingly empower the ungodly pastors and politicians with jets, through their offerings and criminal complicity.
And, here we are!
One can’t but wonder how the rich are getting richer with stolen funds, whether in government or in churches, yet the people appear to be satisfied.
In fact, they often go about personalizing the riches of the affluent. They are even ready to defend them.
But then, what do they gain?
A Yoruba proverb says, ‘One rich person amidst a lot of poor people is also a poor person’! But then do we, the masses, care?
We have left all the riches in the land to the few to enjoy life on our slothful behalves!
They will, definitely, get to heaven before we get there in our mini-buses!!!
