Mr Buhari is really a do-gooder!
By the way, a dictionary describes a do-gooder as, ‘a well meaning but unrealistic philanthropist or reformer’.
For Buhari to declare at an African Union Peace and Security summit on situations on Libya and the Sahel that was held in Addis Ababa that, ‘Insecurity in Libya gives me sleepless nights, I want to help them’, shows he is not concerned about the insecurity that is bedevilling his own country.
I really don’t have anything against assisting other countries in the areas of security or whatever, but I earnestly believe our so-called leaders must do not just something, but a lot of things quickly to save our peoples from the insecurity that has rendered many fatherless, motherless and even childless in the land.
How can a president – in this case, a representative of the president – of a country which is at war in peace time go outside the borders and be spilling such hogwash?
Even in the Libya being referred to, to the best of my knowledge, some Nigerians are said to be suffering.
I’m personally irritated by what Mr Buhari was quoted to have said!
