A revolution is a very sharp change made to something.
They are usually political in nature. Some people feel unhappy with their lives, some are unhappy with whole systems.
Often revolutions include fighting. However, there are revolutions that happen without fighting.
Now, if Sowore was comfortable with the style of Buhari’s administration, he wouldn’t have contested against him in 2019. This is especially true when viewed against the background that, according to the grapevine, he helped bringing the government into power in 2015.
For any person to protest against a system or government, they would only be exercising their freedom of expression.
Rights are freely given to human beings from birth. But they submit some of these rights to a body called government.
They did this in exchange for the protection of their communal rights. Communal rights may include security, education, etc.
But above all, communal right include the right to engage in concerted activity for manual aid or protection, the right to strike, the right to adopt inside strategies, the right to boycott, etc.
As far as I’m concerned the government of Buhari has not been able to satisfy the yearnings of a greater number of Nigerians.
The government has been helpless in the case of terrorist activities which include kidnappings, armed robberies and even making away with the commonwealth while the generality of the people are suffering.
I don’t believe the government has any business in government because there’s no doubting the fact that it’s totally clueless.
It simply doesn’t know what to do!
So, the call by Sowore for a revolution is not only in order, it’s the courageous thing to do!!!
