It’s traditional that people who have made an impact are declared men of the year at the end of the year. The title itself is sexist. Why not Woman of the Year?
Without a doubt, we human beings qualify for that title.
To avoid doubt, a minority may be exempted from what our world has become. However, I’m not a mathematician but most of us are active participants in what we have become.
Let’s consider how many wars or conflicts are happening in the world.
Shall we look at the number of homeless people?
Let’s look at those who can’t get food.
Let’s consider those who have been made jobless by war, instability or the economy.
Shall we look at the number of ailing who can’t get drugs?
One thing that continues to beat me is that if we make conscious efforts for the world to be peaceful, many of our problems will be resolved.
Until we do that, human beings unquestionably deserve the title of UNMAN OF THE YEAR!
