The statement of being dangerously wealthy credited to an Ota god, didn’t surprise me. How could it have surprised me?
Nigeria and Nigerians are not ready to free themselves from bondage. And before anyone starts asking questions, I’m also included!
I suppose he has a minting corporation where currency is printed. He just doesn’t understand what’s at stake.
If he has not gone to loot the treasury personally, does it mean he is not doing it by proxy?
His own god, like those of other Pentecostals, believe, not in giving to the poor, but to their ‘daddies’.
And who are the so called ‘daddies?
Men who encourage people to defraud the nation, under the guise of god’s grace.
They set up secondary schools and universities which average parishioners are not able to afford for their wards.
Their wives dress in designer clothes. For some of them, the schools they’ve founded are not good enough for their own children. So their wards get sent overseas for their education.
In any case, they own houses abroad!
They invest a lot in aircraft. It’s like they evangelize while air borne.
Many of them are mobile scandals. It’s so much that hardly does any day elapse without a pastor being involved in one scandal or the other.
To the generality of Nigerians, I say ‘E kuu suuru’!
But one day go be one day!
