I love people who are reflective. People who are reflective don’t act impulsively.
Rather, they think of the consequences of their actions before embarking on them!
Nigerians have generally voted in Mr Buhari for another four years. Whether or not the election was as a result of deep thought does not matter now.
We have to live by the consequences of our actions!
Elections have come and gone. Could we now go back to the germaine problems of rulership?
In the first instance, there’s the problem of security. Nigerians deserve to be secured, in all ramifications, in their own country.
So do foreigners!
In any case, it’s the foreigners who invest in the country. It’s not as if some Nigerians don t, foreigners constitute the majority.
The exchange rate too is not helping matters.
But then, I still very much believe there’s so much loose money in Nigeria. The only snag is the money is being used inappropriately. Resources, too, are not being tapped effectively.
For instance, instead of spending money on the poor, people in government are taking the bulk of the money. The poor people are only getting the crumbs left behind by the rich.
I really can’t understand why the aged, the unemployed and the physically challenged aren’t getting any social welfare assistance from government.
Electric power has remained something that’s unachievable in terms of supply.
So are other social amenities.
Well, we’ll continue to enjoy the results of our decisions until we start thinking!
