Nigerian leaders are a clever lot, aren’t they?
They knew citizens would be looking forward to goodies this season. At least, if they couldn’t have good governance throughout the year, they deserve a semblance of the dividends of democracy at the end of the year.
But what did we have?
Letters, letters, and letters!
We were made to argue about the letters, and we forgot every other thing! It is when we stop our arguments that we will know importation of rice and frozen fish will be illegal in 2014. Personally. I would not have minded this ban if there had been alternatives.
Personally again, I think it shows the President, if he is contesting in 2015, is confident of winning.
But for now, we have entered a ‘one chance’ bus! We are used to it, aren’t we?
