Aproko won’t kill facebook. Why is it always concerned about what’s on my mind?
Anyway, what else would be on my mind except to preach the message of hope and peace to the whole world. This is especially so because we are totally helpless and possibly hopeless as current events have shown.
The Yoruba will say, if a masquerade is chasing someone, they should persevere. That’s because they believe tiredness is not unique to earthly beings, spirits also do get tired.
Masquerades are believed to be spirits!
We, undoubtedly, have learnt a lot of lessons.
The churchy ones among us must have been surprised that they could be home on a Palm Sunday. We don’t have any hope that we won’t be home on Easter Sunday yet.
Those Muslims among us that would normally go for Umrah in Saudi Arabia every Friday have had to stay at home. The Saudis aren’t sure that the yearly visit to Mecca will hold this year.
This shows we can worship God anywhere. I tend to believe it’s our countenance that really do matter. I’m not a pastor but I do believe in the omniscience, omnipresence and omnipotence of God.
We do have clothes, cars, private jets and so on but we’re not able to use them.
Some of us had planned social functions, travels, holidays and even projects but they were not to take place.
The obvious advantage however is the fact that parents are able to really bond with their children.
I’m sure we’ll survive these times and praise God for His mercies.
Stay safe!
